This is my version of The Declaration of Independence, modified to fit the needs of our day.
It is for the benefit of any group of states which seek their freedom from the oppression of the socialists who have taken over our country. When the Democrats have broken the country by bankrupting it with Obamacare, cap and trade regulations, massive indebtedness, heavy taxation, etc., maybe enough conservatives in flyover country will push their state governments to unilaterally initiate The Two State Solution for their states, and to force it on the rest of the country, whether they want it or not.
I would like to suggest to those not familiar with the original Declaration that you read over it first (if you don't have a copy it's all over the internet) and get an idea of what is in it and what our Forefathers went through with the King of England. For those who are familiar with it, I think you will find if you review it before reading my version that it will make my version of it all the more apropos.
I have used the original as my guide and tried to stay true to it inasmuch as the particulars will allow, and to keep each grievance as close to topic in the original as is possible. I had to change some of them considerably as times have changed even though the nature of "rulers" hasn't. For instance, the government doesn't "quarter large bodies of troops among us" anymore, and "forbidding his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance" just doesn't apply to our current governmental structure. I have also added a few that I felt were important and otherwise not covered, e.g., our Forefathers guaranteed the right to bear arms, but for some reason the leaders of today want to abolish them from private hands altogether, among other new infringements that even King George hadn't thought of.
Just as our Forefathers declared their independence from King George and England, we must also declare our independence from our own version of tyranny if we are to ever recover any of it.

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with each other and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Law of Identity entitles them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness; That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the Governed; That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience has shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of the Conservatives and Libertarians, and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present Democrat Party is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over all the people of this country. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world:
They have repeatedly changed our Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
They have usurped the Laws appropriately ensconced in the States, and treated them as their own; and they have passed legislation requiring mandates on the part of the States without funding for them.
They have passed other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, but inhospitable to others in acts of unfairness.
They have created a culture in their governing body and in the Capital City of the Union, and in the lobbyists and special interest groups who grovel at their feet, wholly alien to the people of the land; they pass laws applicable to the people, but not to them; indeed, they liveth under special laws that only they may know for their lifetimes.
They have blasphemed the people of the country repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness their invasions on the rights of the people.
They have refused for a long time, after such blasphemes, to listen to the people, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
They have endeavoured to suddenly increase the population of these States; for that purpose constructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners and Illegal Aliens at will and wantonly; refusing to pass other laws to discourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of the development of Lands.
They have obstructed the Administration of Justice by selecting activist candidates who Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers as the laws of the land; and they have made Judges dependent on their ideology alone for the tenure of their offices, in cahoots with money-changers and suppliers of influence.
They have erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.
They have dreampt among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies of Civil Defense Forces, purportedly for the incarceration of Conservatives and other ne'er-do-wells.
They have affected to render the Military incompetent and inferior to any other Power, including Grenada.
They have created laws for plenary taxation of the peoples whence only limited taxations were so inscribed in the Constitution.
They have enacted restrictions on our Bill of Rights, in particular the First and Second amendments, in the name of our own safety, security and well-being; and the writers among us, the thinkers and the controllers of all information, for whom the First amendment was written, have conspired with their brothers in government to deceive the people viciously, in order to convince them to vote away their rights as human beings, and to become the serfs of a newly oppressed nation and One-World government.
They have used a Perversion of the Commerce Clause, the General Welfare clause and every other clause to disarm the People and to exercise regulatory control over every aspect of human existence within the several States.
They have combined with International Laws and the United Nations to subject the people to a jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving their Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
For quartering large bodies of purposely impoverished peoples among us, forcing "white flight:"
For protecting them, by mocking their opponents, from punishment for any legal transgressions or actual crimes, which they do commit regularly; crimes which, if committed by Republicans, they and their brothers in the media would pursue without fatigue, subjecting them to humiliation, disbarment, expulsion and criminal indictment; and wouldth so parade and prosecute them tarred and feathered:
For controlling our Trade with other Free-Traders everywhere:
For imposing Taxes and Socialist Programs on us without our Consent:
For depriving us in every case of the benefit of benevolent government:
For transporting us beyond seas to fight in wars that are not declared by the Congress:
For having moved to dissolve our sovereignty and merge us with Nations of lesser freedoms and civilities in order to reduce the freedoms and civilities in our own States:
For taking away our rights, adding unconstitutional Laws, abolishing our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:
For making a mockery of our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever, regardless of the laws of the Constitution:
For abdicating its Constitutional Responsibility to coin money and regulate the value thereof by transferring this function to a private banking consortium; and for bankrupting our Treasury and securing debt for generations of Americans to come.
They have abdicated Government here, by declaring us incapable of living our own lives and by waging a Political and Cultural War against us.
They have plundered our wealth, ravaged our rights, corrupted our people, and destroyed the lives of minorities, the aged, the sick and the children everywhere.
They have usurped the education of the children of the nation, and then turned the schools on the people by the failure to instruct in the basics and to teach the Constitution, much less the principles and philosophies of a free peoples.
They are at this time creating large Armies of domestic Mercenaries to compleat the works of spiritual death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Crisis & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the leaders of a civilized nation.
They have paid our fellow Citizens on the streets of Chicago to bear registration forms against their Country, to become the corrupters of their friends and Brethren during election seasons, in order to gaineth power by their own Hands.
They have excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and have endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our heartland values foreign to them: the merciless street gang culture, whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of the minds of the young.
The Federal Government, currently consisting mostly of Democrats, has declared the People of these United States, including returning Military Patriots, potential domestic enemies and suspected terrorists if they express a fidelity to our Constitution, support third party candidates, put unapproved bumper-stickers on their cars, oppose the Democrat President or any policy the Democrats try to institute, which is expressive of the beginnings of dictatorship and in opposition to our Constitution.
They have attempted to turn The People against each other by instituting websites where Citizens can report to the Government other Citizens who oppose Government usurpations of their Liberties.
In every stage of these Oppressions and Usurpations of power We have petitioned for redress in the most humble and peaceful terms. Our repeated requests that the Federal Government stay within the bounds of its Constitutionally Delegated Powers have been answered only by repeated injury and additional usurpations. A President whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the leader of a Free People. A Federal Government whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrannical Government, is unfit to be the common agent of a Union of Sovereign States.
Nor have we been wanting in attention to our Democrat Overlords. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their Legislatures and Presidents to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our Constitution and development here. We have appealed to their native Justice and Magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common Kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably usurp our Freedoms and Happiness. They too have been deaf to the voice of Justice and of Consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold the Democrats, Enemies in War; in Peace, Enemies still.
We, therefore, the people of the several Republican States who have joined in general Citizenship, unassembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the Good People of these States, solemnly publish and declare that these States are, and of Right ought to be, a Free and Independent Region, according to the Design and intent of The Two State Solution For America, retaining certain connections to the Federal Government and the remaining States, but not others, as provided therein. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence and a majority of Citizens smart enough to act for their own benefit, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
